Can't be here at 10am when we open and feel like you're missing something special? Don't worry, we got ya covered! Every hour, on the hour, from 11 to 4, we will add a free "mystery comic" for the taking! These books will be different than the FCBD books being offered and every hour it will be a different book! That's 6 "mystery comics" to help you celebrate the magic of Free Comic Book Day!

*(the limit of 5 books per person still applies throughout the day)

Now, we all know that if you've got children in tow, patience is sometime a luxury you can't afford. But you won't need to worry this Free Comic Book Day as the Harbor will have plenty of activities to keep the little ones occupied!

This year we have face-painting artists ready to turn tykes into heroes! Every kid who comes out can get free face painting! There will also be plenty of wandering volunteers on hand and in costume for photo opportunities, including the Saber Guild - Echo Base Temple fan-group!

Also, from 9am to 11am, Eclipse Fusion will be providing entertainment, featuring their collective of dancers with widespread dance training devoted to the art of tribal fusion belly dance. Eclipse Fusion incorporates various references to Western popular culture such as video games, comics and tv shows with the theatrical intention of blending new and old.

And if that's not enough, the good folks from the Alberta Institute of Mentors & Builders of Tomorrow (AIMBOT for short), will be hosting a LEGO creation zone and “Green Lantern Challenge” at Happy Harbor Comics on FCDB! Enjoy the fun FREE building area for families and all ages, with over 100 pounds of green brick LEGO! See if you've got what it take to be a "Master Builder". Come out and build with AIMBOT and join us in the fun and prizes!

Don't worry parents, Happy Harbor has you covered!

Afraid you'll get the munchies while taking in all the activities during Free Comic Book Day? Never fear, as food will be available on-site, provided by Dedo's Food Truck, with tasty Shawarma, Falafel, Philly Cheese Steak and more!
